Daktronics partnered with IDEAS by GUL Ahmed Textiles, one of the oldest and largest textile mills in Pakistan, and Quadra Technologies to deliver a curved, 3.9-millimeter LED display. Khurram Khaliq Khan, CEO and director of business development for Quadra Technologies, commented, “IDEAS’ vision is to become the leading retailer in fashion fabrics and viewed as a state-of the-art, modernized fashion store in Pakistan. They want to bring modern technology along with the integration of the online shopping experience and digital integration of their shops.”
The display consists of three individual banners that start on the wall near a staircase and curve up onto the ceiling. Each individual display starts at a different height matching the staircase to share branding and retail messaging. The content is either shown individually on each banner or spans across all three displays to form one large digital canvas.

Unique architectural characteristics combined with meaningful human experiences create a memorable sense of place as passengers await a flight at Los Angeles International Airport. Airports today are going digital, generating an increasing share of their non-flight revenues through digital advertising. Audiences are affluent, influential and technology early-adopters. With pre-flight time on their hands, they are ready to be inspired to go shopping.
Brands seen within an airport environment are synonymous with exclusive, elite products. And to reflect that premium status, the screens on which they are shown must portray them with a resolution of equal superiority. It’s for this reason that Daktronics has been selected around the world to take center stage at international airports.
