Wooden buildings on the rise

New innovative solutions in wooden building components have allowed wood to enter into new construction end-uses traditionally dominated by concrete and steel. Massive wood elements open the way for taller wooden high-rise buildings than ever before.

AVALON

Reynaers Aluminiums Virtual Reality Room, AVALON, installed in the Reynaers Campus in Duffel, offers the ability to visit a building through a shared virtual reality experience while the design is still in process.

On a daily basis, building teams visit AVALON for different reasons, architects who invite general contractors to discuss technical details or who visit with investors to present the design and take the investor through their future home. This way clients are already involved in an early stage of the design process. They can enter through the front door of their future home, visit the lounge room where they will soon relax and experience the outdoor view from their terrace. All of this in a phase of the design where the architect can still make adaptations according to the preferences of the investor.

A3 Apartments is organised into five distinct volumes, positioned together as an ensemble to determine the overall final shape. Each of the volumes is outlined with soft and elegant forms, allowing your imagination to run free.

Hi-Finity Apartment Nice

The recent renovation of this Nice apartment showcases today’s latest modern solutions. In order to take advantage of the expansive outdoor terraces and breathtaking sea views a 490 cm wide window from Reynaers Aluminium was specified for the living room/terrace area. Because of its hidden frame and lack of opening apparatus, the system appears in some senses virtually invisible. Thanks to the Reynaers Aluminium Hi-Finity system, the border between indoors and outdoors is only apparent in the case of bad weather, when the glass walls are closed.
